Free Kids Fishing Derby

Free fishing is on tap Saturday, April 7, for kids 15 and under at the Tenoroc Youth Conservation Center off North Combee Road in North Lakeland on Tenoroc Mine Road. Events include a casting contest, “fish” egg hunt, exhibits by the Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network, birding tours and canine demonstrations by law enforcement units. The fun begins at 8am and ends at 1pm.
