Over 95% of all villas have key boxes/lock boxes or electronic keypads at the entrance. It allows for you to arrive anytime after the standard arrival time (as shown in the rental agreement) without having to arrange to meet someone to get the keys. The keys are there waiting for you! Key box
Lock box option
When you arrive at your villa should see a lockbox hanging on the outside wall next to the front entrance door or around the knob on the door. Inside this lockbox is the key to the front door. To open the lockbox press the code that was sent to you prior to arrival into the front of the lockbox and then pull the tab on the top and the front cover should pull off. To close the lockbox, simply repeat the process on the lockbox cover and return it to its base. Upon departure, please return the key to the lockbox after locking the doors.
Electronic Keypad option.
The keypad is directly at the door handle, you just have to punch in the numbers and then usually also push an “open” button or a “#” button. Most of the villas that have an electronic keypad will still have a mechanic key box on the nearby wall in case of emergency.
