A Glimpse of a Bygone Era – the Edison & Ford Estates

Henry Ford & Thomas Edison

During the early 1900s, Thomas Edison and Henry Ford relaxed in adjoining winter estates in Fort Myers that are open to the public for a variety of tours through nine historic buildings, 20 acres of botanical gardens and the Estates Museum. The non-profit corporation that oversees the operation also offers a variety of activities and programs for children and adults. Visit http://www.edisonfordwinterestates.org/ for more information.
