Bok Tower Gardens Offers Discovery Activities for Youngsters

Discovery Days – Great Escapes, a literary escape into the Gardens, will be offered on select Wednesdays for children 6-12 at Bok Tower Gardens. The program will combine the wonders of children’s literature and nature. The schedule begins on July 11 with Holes by Louis Sacchar, The Missing Gator of Gumbo Limbo by Jean Craighead George on July 18, The Secret Garden by Francis Hodgson Burnet on July 25, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis on August 1, Hoot by Carl Hiassen on August 8, and Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein on August 15.
