Wet ‘n Wild Planning Water Playground

Orlando’s Wet ‘n Wild, traditionally an attraction for older children, will open a water park this summer that will offer activities for all ages, with lots for the younger set. According to the press release “The new interactive water playground will span more than 60-feet in height, expand across two pools (two levels: upper & lower) and have more than 85,000 gallons of water for guests to enjoy. Annual Sun ‘n Fun Fly-In Coming to Lakeland

Performances by the USAF Thunderbirds will highlight this year’s Fly-In at Sun ‘n Fun in Lakeland. Shows are at 4pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 30, 31 and April 1. Legoland Water Park Opening This Summer

The addition of a water park to Legoland Florida is planned for May and will introduce 7 new attractions. The Duplo Splash Safari will be a shaded area intended for toddlers. Imagination Station will allow kids to create bridges and dams with Duplo blocks and Build-A-Raft River will ride inner tubes customized with Lego bricks along a 1000-foot lazy river. Other attractions include a Wave Pool will be for all ages, a Joker Soaker playground, Twin Chasers slides, and a 60-foot drop Splash Out slide. http://florida.legoland.com/

Real Music Series at Busch Gardens

Ever Been to a Pig Fest?

Now’s your chance! The Annual Lakeland Pig Fest features lots of live music and over 150 teams competing to create the best of barbeque dishes. The Downtown Farmer’s Curb Market has 35 – 40 vendors offering lots of special items from food products to toys to jewelry and more!
