Lion Country Safari is about a three-hour trip from the northern Polk County area, but folks who have been there claim it is well worth the drive. Located in Loxahatchee near West Palm Beach on the East Coast of Florida, Lion Country Safari offers a drive through safari with over 900 animals and a walk through amusement park with six rides.
