Daytona Beach Pier, a longtime tourist draw, closed in the fall of 2009 and has now reopened with a new restaurant attraction – Joe’s Crab Shack. The end of the 745-foot pier is open for fishing from 7am to 7pm daily and the city is looking forward to further development to revitalize the Daytona beachfront. (2003 Photo)
