Our beautiful villa is situated on the very prestigious Emerald Island Resort. It offers the privacy of a gated resort lifestyle in a one-of-a-kind secluded location. Just 3 miles from Disney Emerald Island really is a beautiful gated community. The winding palm lined road which leads to Resort is a prelude to the community's grandeur. The collonade entry, complete with a silver dolphin fountain and picturesque rotunda provides a dramatic arrival to the communal Clubhouse with its fitness centre, sauna, steam room. games room, internet cafe, tennis courts, volley ball and children's play areas. It offers a quick escape from the busy Theme Parks. It has many lakes and nature trails . Each villa has its own pool, of course, but the Clubhouse at Emerald Island also has a large communal pool and tikki bar - great for getting to know poeple and for the kids to make friends. We chose not to have the usual "furniture package" but instead spent several weeks choosing the furniture to our taste so that it would be of the highest standard. The villa has 5 double bedrooms (2 end suite) and 3 bathrooms. The master bedroom is hugh and has a lovely vaulted ceiling. There is a very large en-suite bathroom. The bedroom has patio doors which lead directly to the pool and spa area. The is a second master bedroom with four poster bed and en-suite bathroom. The other three bedrooms are all double - one has a double bed and the other two have single beds. All are big and very well equipped. There are two very large lounges so that two families could easily share this house and have their own privacy if that's what they want. There is a formal dining room and also a nook next to the large kitchen. The fridge makes continuous ice - just right for those gin and tonics. There is also a laundry room with large washing machine and dryer. I know we don't want to think about washing, but needs must) The south west pool area has an extended deck and a spa so that you can relax in the evening after a hard day at the Theme Parks whilst the kids have fun in the pool. A gas barbeque can be hired from our Management Company for $7 a day - ideal for al-fresco dining so the men can cook whilst you relax. The pool is protected by a barrier to keep the little ones safe and there is a crib, high chair and stroller for your use. All linen and towels are provided. The Games room has a pool table, air hockey and table football, as well as many board games. The villa of course, has cable TV There DVD players in both lounges. Enerald Island really is only 3 minutes from Disney and is within walking distance of Highway 192 which is a hive of activity with 24 hour shops, restaurants etc. It really is the most perfect place to take a wonderful Florida vacation.
