MLB Spring Training Sites in Florida

It’s been a long wait since the final pitch of the 2011 World Series, but Major League Baseball makes its return this month at 14 spring training sites throughout Florida. There are three parks fairly close to our area. These are Champion Stadium at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Kissimmee (Atlanta Braves), Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland (Detroit Tigers), and Osceola County Stadium in Kissimmee (Houston Astros). Eight teams make their spring homes along the west coast of Florida from Dunedin to Fort Myers and three teams are on the east coast – one in Viera, one in Port St. Lucie, and two in Jupiter. http://www.floridaspringtraining.com/
