Open every day of the year, Bok Tower Gardens is located in Lake Wales on peninsular Florida’s highest elevation. It’s hardly a mountain, but it does offer beautiful views and easily-navigated paths through wonderful gardens designed by famed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr.
The focal point of the Gardens is the 205-foot Singing Tower featuring concerts at 1 and 3p.m. performed on the 60-bell carillon.
If you don’t get a chance to tour the Gardens in person, at least visit boktowergardens.org for beautiful views and information about its founder, Edward Bok.
