So you have booked your Florida vacation with FloridaBestVillas and you are all packed and ready to go! What can you expect when you arrive?

About 1 week before arrival, we email you the keycodes for the key lock box at the villa and any further information. The keys are held in this box so access is easy! Over 90% of the villas have a keybox at the entrance, so you can arrive at any time after the standard arrival time (4 pm).

Although each home is a little different, they each have a booklet containing all the information about the villa, the pool, the A/C and other useful things like the phone number for pizza delivery. There are also all emergency phone numbers and addresses, including the phone numbers of the management company in charge of the villa. Should there be a problem, this is who you call. We strongly recommend to check the villa upon arrival and inform the management immediately about any breakage.

The process is fast and easy and then all you have to do is relax and enjoy your stay.

This is another common question we get at FloridaBestVillas. Typically, check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 10:00 am. If you arrive before check in time, we always recommend going to the grocery store to stock up for the vacation or grab lunch. Many of the resort communities will also allow you to use the clubhouse area and amenities prior to check-in time. This is a great way to start your Florida vacation – relaxing by the pool!
However, it may be beneficial to try and check into your villa early. This all depends on if the villa was rented to another guest prior to your arrival. The cleaning staff must be allowed adequate time to service the villa before your arrival. So if the villa is not rented out, there is an opportunity to check in early. The same applies for late check out. If the villa is rented right after your departure, it may not be possible for a late check out. Again, the cleaning staff need access to the villa.

The best bet – check with the House Management a couple of days before your arrival or departure to arrange a late check out or early check in. Last minute bookings are common so we are not able to pre-arrange this for you.

This is a very common question we receive since many people are traveling in large groups and plan on renting a car to transport everyone.
Each community resort has different rules but in general guests can have any cars, pickups, and vans as long as they fit on the drive way to each garage. Cars are not supposed to be parked on the street and, in fact, there are several communities in which you are fined if a car is left on the street overnight.
The big no no’s are – NO RVs and NO boats. Motorcycles are case by case basis.

We often suggest with large groups that you rent two cars as opposed to one large vehicle. This allows for the group to do two activities at the same time as we all know it can be a challenge for a large group to all agree on what to do next.

One of the most frequent questions is: How will I get the keys for my villa?
What will happen, if I arrive at 2am? Will an FBV-employee still be awake?

The answer is easy: Don’t worry, the keys are always available to you at anytime. The magical thing is called a “key safe”. We will email you the code to open the safe a few days before your arrival. So you just enter these numbers into the key safe to open, take the key to access the villa and enjoy your stay.

Easy, isn’t it?
