Dinner Shows in the Orlando Area

The two most popular dinner shows in the area are the Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament and Arabian Nights

Medieval Times located at 4510 W. Vine Street in Kissimmee has tickets as low as $35. The show features knights competing on horseback for the kingdom. The attention to detail in the costumes and weapons makes this a one of a kind experience. Of course dinner is served during the show and although it is Medieval Times, vegetarian options are available. Check out the website.

Arabian Nights is located at 3081 Arabian Nights Boulevard in Kissimmee. This show is more mythical in plot.
The large-scale production features riders and acrobats performing with more than 60 horses. There is also a delicious meal served during the show with a slightly more upscale approach serving 3 plated courses with utensils.

Here is a great article about the Gator Zip Line at Gatorland! Gatorland is a 110-acre theme park and wildlife preserve and has new exhibits and entertainment. But something not to be missed is the Zipline. It is an amazing experience of 1200 feet soaring over alligators and catching breath taking views of the Florida wildlife. It is a heart pounding, thrilling ride with speeds up to 25 miles per hour!!!

Star Wars Celebration convention to return to Orlando in 2012

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

You read that right….tickets are on sale now. This event can sell out fast so if you are planning your trip to Disney in the Fall, you might want to consider booking these tickets now.

This is a great event held at the Magic Kingdom on select dates from September through November. Kids are encouraged to dress up in their best Halloween costumes and go trick or treating throughout the Magic Kingdom.

As the name suggests this, not-so-scary party is appropriate for all ages.

How far is to far to stay from Disney?

This is a very common questions from our potential guests. Most people are coming to Central Florida is experience the Disney Theme Parks. It is so much more cost effective to rent a villa and drive to Disney than it is to stay on property. BUT how long will it take you to get there?

The distance to Disney, Universal and the other parks is important, but don’t overestimate it. If a vacation villa is 5 minutes further away but has everything you want, take it. The thing is, you will probably lose (or find) those additional 5 minutes waiting for the bus to get you to the park from the parking lot, or waiting on a line for some ride. You will be so much happier in the villa you wanted as opposed to the villa that is 2 miles closer to Disney World. All communities are between 5 and 30 minutes from Disney, depends also on the park you want to visit and the exit on I4 you need to take. As you can see, this is a science of its own:)
