Built in 1989, the Indian Ridge Homes are the model of what many home builders have followed - Large homes in a country like setting.The walled in neighborhood includes several park like areas, a large and private community pool, children's playground, tennis courts, volleyball court, football field, baseball diamond and miles of paved jogging paths. It is easy to start your morning along any of over 20 interconnecting pathways that ultimately lead to the main children's park at the entrance of the estate. The homes are all built on double sized lots so there is ample space. Restaurants and shopping centers are within 5 minutes and of course the Disney Resort is only 3 miles away. Although most homes at Indian Ridge include a private pool there are a few homes located near the community pool that offer the luxury of a private home but the benefits of the children's park being only a few doors away. This is not a public pool so the owners have provided private keys to the pool and tennis courts. There are numerous golf and country clubs close by and the brand new Palms Golf and Country Club is a mere 1/4 mile north. At night , the silence of Indian Ridge will make you believe you are in the countryside of Florida. In the distance you can hear the rumble of the Walt Disney Park's nightly fireworks displays.
