This beautiful house is situated in the historical and highly desired Yacht Club-neighborhood of Cape Coral. The famous bridge of the same name is nearby, and the beach as well as the yacht club are just a short stroll of eight minutes away.

If you would like to spend your vacation in Florida, then this 150 sqm house is just right for you! It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a modern kitchen with an open bar and a spacious living room looking out towards the large pool, perfect for relaxing.

The house is in a quite, well-kept and somehow 'original' residential area on the south side of Cape Coral. Due to its romantic setting next to the Driftwood Canal, the house even has its own docking area with a cosy seating area looking over the canal and its playful fish. The Driftwood Canal offers a direct connection to the river and to the Gulf - all without a bothersome bridge in between.

The estate is surrounded by an exotic fauna including banana, orange, grapefruit and lemon trees. There is even a star fruit tree and a large avocado tree which is great if you are looking for some shade. The silva all carry fruit when in season...as you can imagine, the fauna attracts attracts some fascinating birds.

A gas barbecue is avaliable for your convenience, as well as new bicycles which offer a nice way to discover the surroundings without the car.

Only eight hundred meters away you can find the yacht club and harbor of Cape Coral. Tennis and squash courts are only ten minutes by foot, and if it is too hot during the day to play, please feel free to do so evenings when the court is well lit. A golf course is only five minutes away by car.

The quiet and well-kept beach is also only eight hundred meters away, and with its fine sand it truly is an insider tip to remember, since it is never over-full. In its private atmosphere you have changing cabins, restrooms and showers and even a roofed barbecue area. Children will be happy to have a playground and shade-giving palms. Due to the short distance to the house, you also never have to worry about finding a parking space.

A beach cafe, open from 9 a.m. till after sundown, is right next door. Apart from the daily newspaper, the cafe offers warm, cold and ice-cold drinks, and also a snack for in between. Weekends allow you to enjoy live music, but only as long as you wish, for once back home you back home you don't hear the music anymore.

Do you like to fish? There is a nice fishing pier between the beach and the cafe. Its 200 meters invite you to throw out a line, watch others fish or just stroll amongst the pelicans, always hungry for the catch. You might even see some of the local dolphins swim by!

The kitchen with its open bar and neighboring dining area: everything is available. A large refrigerator with freezer, stove and oven, microwave, dish washer, an electrical juicer, toaster, coffee machine and enough cutlery, plates and glasses for all. Right next to the kitchen is a breakfast and dining area with a dining table and chairs. The open bar neighbors the living room and is furnished with bar stools.

The living room: A large area with a three- and a two-sitting couch in the modern Florida style. From here you can enjoy the view of the pool and the canal. If you wish, take a seat outside on the patio. Near the television there is a rattan seating area.

The bedroom: The house has three bedrooms. The are separated from the living area by a hallway. A master bedroom has a king size bed. Your clothe can be stowed away in a walk-in-closet. You can reach the pool area through a large glas door.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed, the third one harbors two single beds, which, when pushed together, give you a king sized bed. Bedclothes are available for all beds. You also have a large closet in the third room.

Two bathrooms with a shower/ bathing tub with a shower belong to the sleeping area. One of these bathrooms is adjacent to the master bedroom and is also reachable from the pool area and offers enough space to change, which is a major plus. You will find everything you need, except for large beach towels, which we ask you to bring.

The whole house has light colored tiles and all the furniture was hand-chosen in the Florida Style. Almost all rooms have fans which are a bonus to the central AC.

Our 'Florida room' lies next to the living area. It has a rattan seating area and offers a direct connection to the pool area. You can also find a stereo system with CD-player here.

The new swimming pool has a c.a. size of 5 x 12 meters and is great for cooling off. An integrated bench invites you to relax in the sun while cooling down in the water. Solar heating keeps the pool warm in winter. Chairs to relax in, and if you are looking for shade, feel free to choose the roofed patio with a seating area. After dark you can light the pool from within, great for cooling off in the evening after a hot day. The pool is kept in good condition by our pool service.

The docking area has a seating area, too, including a table. You can even fish without a license from here. So, what else is available?

Washing machine and dryer, radio, gas barbecue, bikes, all you need to iron your clothes, cushions for the seating possibilities and basically everything else that belongs in a household.
