Concert Series at Busch Gardens Opens January 16

The 2013 Real Music Concert Series begins January 16-19 at Busch Gardens in Tampa with the Terry Myers Orchestra with the Swing Sisters. The schedule continues with the World-Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra on January 23-26 , Frank Sinatra Jr. on January 30-February 2, Paul Revere & The Raiders on February 6-9, Sha Na Na on February 13-16, Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis Jr. on February 20-23, and Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone on February 27-March 2. Performances are at 11:30am, 1pm, and 3:30pm. Reservation tickets are needed to guarantee a seat. Christmas Town is Coming to Busch Gardens

Busch Gardens in Tampa will be transformed into Christmas Town every Friday, Saturday
and Sunday from November 30 through December 23. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from September 21 through October 27, Howl-O-Scream will terrorize visitors to Busch Gardens. New haunted houses this year will be the Blood Asylum and Circus of Superstition 3D. Returning are the ever-popular Nightshade Toy Factory, Ultimate Gamble, Nevermore, Zombie Mortuary, and Alone. The event is called Christmas Town and will be the largest holiday celebration ever seen at Busch Gardens. It begins November 30 and will run through December 23. Real Music Series at Busch Gardens

The Real Music concerts at Busch Gardens in Tampa began this month. Upcoming concerts include The Glenn Miller Orchestra now though January 28 followed by Tony Orlando on February 1-4, Frankie Avalon on February 8-11, Osmond Brothers on February 15-18, Herman’s Hermits on February 22-25, The Ventures on February 20-March 3, Rita Coolidge on March 7-10, The Grass Roots on March 14-17, and Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr. on March 21-24. New Theme Park Attractions for 2012

There is always something new to attract our attention to central Florida’s theme parks and 2012 looks to be extra special as major overhauls and new features are being introduced.

“Iceploration” a 30-minute permanent ice show will open at Busch Gardens on February 2 featuring figure skaters, live animals, puppets, and special music. http://seaworldparks.com/en/buschgardens-tampa

Legoland will open its water park in the summer of 2012 with six attractions featuring a wave pool, slides an interactive water playground, and lots more. http://florida.legoland.com/

Busch Gardens in Tampa has announced plans for an exciting new show in February called “Iceploration” that features ice skating, aerialists, puppetry, and live animals. This spectacular will be presented in the Moroccan Palace where the “Christmas on Ice” show will be seen from November 21 to January 1. Busch Gardens now offers an app for your iPhone that will give you directions around its Tampa park. It offers lots of useful information such as quickest routes to rides, shows and restaurants, current wait times, weather updates, and phone numbers. For some of us the best feature is “Find My Car” – a pin-drop locator. To download, go to the iTunes App Store and search for “Busch Gardens.”
